Area and Redevelopment Plans
Mr. Kendall is a new member to the MDC team and comes with over four years of planning experience in the public and non-profit sectors. He specializes in zoning, downtown revitalization, public engagement, creative placemaking, gateway enhancement, and multi-modal mobility. Prior to MDC, Mr. Kendall worked as Director of Planning and Mobility for the Downtown Partnership in Colorado Springs, CO as well as a planner for El Paso County, CO.
Mr. Kendall has reviewed and administered zoning regulations in multiple jurisdictions. This includes reviewing potential developments against such standards, interpreting zoning regulations, and drafting amendments to subdivision and zoning regulations.
Mr. Kendall has served as a staff planner for two jurisdictions: El Paso County, Colorado and the Town of Greenwich, CT. In these roles he reviewed and processed site plan applications, prepared written memos, presented at public meetings, and coordinated with stakeholders.
Mr. Kendall, through his role as Director of Planning and Mobility with the Downtown Partnership of Colorado Springs, facilitated conversations between business owners, residents, city staff, and developers in order to pursue a more multi-modal, pedestrian friendly, and livable Downtown.
