Mr. Wocher has extensive experience working for both private and public sector clients. He frequently speaks at local and regional planning and zoning conferences and workshops on current planning topics. He regularly coordinates teams of designers, engineers and architects to obtain development approvals for private real estate developments and conducts regulatory and permitting review for site specific projects. He serves as a project manager to assist communities on a variety of issues including plan review, adoption and updating of zoning regulations and the creation of problem specific planning solutions.
Professional Experience
Mr. Wocher currently serves as planning staff for multiple townships in greater Cincinnati, advising the Zoning Commission and Board of Trustees on various zoning, development and planning issues. Mr. Wocher’s planning experience also includes expert testimony for both public and private sector clients, in land use litigation, providing expert testimony in public hearings, depositions, and court.
Mr. Wocher is responsible for several private development clients. His tasks include entitlement research, zoning and permit research, development team coordination, and representation at various . Mr. Wocher is involved with most aspects of development services. He is responsible for several private sector clients and a majority of his projects are oriented to site specific development. His tasks include: entitlement, zoning, and permitting research on a local, regional, and national level; conceptual plan review; coordinating teams of development professionals; and providing representation and advocating client’s interests at various jurisdictional boards and councils. Mr. Wocher also assists clients with construction permitting and utility research. His primary responsibility is collection and evaluation of land use and zoning data needed for project analysis. These tasks require a combination of data collection in the field as well as electronic data searches. He is responsible for contacting municipalities and starting the development permitting process.
Using his experience with zoning regulations in communities around the country, Mr. Wocher has drafted zoning regulations for a number of communities.
